| Job description: | Tetra Marketing is a fast growing Marketing Consultancy and Agency with a portfolio of more than 35 clients. They have unrivalled experience of helping businesses take a structured long term approach to marketing and building strong brand identities by producing eye catching campaigns and communications material. Tetra Marketing has clients in both the business and consumer sectors and has the capabilities to take on projects that require detailed technical knowledge of more complex products, services and industries. We are looking for a graphic designer to join our rapidly growing company. |
| Duties & Responsibilities: | Description of role: The principal duties of the graphic designer are as follows: • Meeting clients to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job; • Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose; • Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients where appropriate; • Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research; • Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients or company directors; • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work; • Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches; • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programmes such as Quark Xpress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, e-mail marketing software, Dreamweaver and Flash; • Developing graphic concepts for a range of marketing materials including website design, brochures, logos/ branding and html e-mails; • Working as part of a team with company directors, suppliers, printers and other designers; • Constantly updating Company Directors on job progress. |
| Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required: | Required skills: • Creative thinking to produce new ideas and concepts; • The ability to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time; • Knowledge and skills of working with a wide range of media and software programs • The ability to work on own initiative • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail • Excellent IT skills • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team • Excellent customer service and communication skills • A positive attitude and proactive approach to solving problems. |
