This is a 3–5 day a week role, Monday to Friday, from 9.30am–5pm for three months, from late July to late October 2011, and is based in our Vauxhall office in London. |
| Duties & Responsibilities: | Unlike some internships out there, you won’t be making endless cups of tea – unless you really want to. The only thing we'll expect you to brew up is superb design work. And you’ll be joining a team of great designers and copywriters, so we'll give you all the support you need to do it. What activities will I be involved in? • creating original designs • updating and amending existing designs • picture research and developing imagery • taking part in brainstorms with our Creative team • working closely with copywriters, marketing officers and others • helping manage and develop our banks of creative resources. |
| Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required: | We imagine you'll be a design graduate or equivalent, the main things we're looking for are: • a creative mind • excellent design skills • good written and communication skills • strong organisational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • attention to detail • the ability to use initiative within specified guidelines • a demonstrable ability to work as part of a team • well versed in design software, with knowledge of Microsoft Office • enthusiasm for our cause. • willingness to follow Macmillan policy eg health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality and financial guidelines |
